 The training ship of the Italian Navy “Amerigo Vespucci

The Italian Embassy is pleased to announce that the training ship of the Italian Navy “Amerigo Vespucci”, often referred to as the world’s most beautiful ship, will call back at the port of Bergen as part of their 2019 training campaign, sixty-four years since last time. The ship will be moored at the Festningskaien 3-FK3 pier from 31 of July to 3 of August 2019.

The commanding officer, Captain Stefano Costantino, invites onboard all those interested to visit which will be open to the public on the following dates/times:

- Wednesday 31 July: from 15.00 to 18.00;
- Thursday 1 August: from 10.00 to 12.30 and from 14.00 to 17.00;
- Friday 2 August: from 10.00 to 12.30 and from 15.00 to 20.30;

Captain Stefano Costantino will also hold a press conference on Wednesday 31 July, at 11.30. Those interested in taking part at the press conference and learning more about the Ship and their activities for the ongoing training campaign, must register with the Ship (see the attached press release).
