Entry rules, quarantine, FAQ

To contain the spread of COVID-19, the authorities of many countries may adopt restrictions and regulations. Here you will find information regarding Italy, Norway and Iceland.

Italian citizens are advised to read and take due note of the general travel recommendation issued by the Italian authorities

 


Entry

Starting from 1 June 2022, travellers are no longer required to present the Covid-19 Certificate (green pass) to enter Italy.
Previous measures will not be extended.

Restrictive measures on the Italian territory

As of 1 May 2022, the presentation of the Covid-19 certificate/green pass is no longer required in order to access public services and activities and urban transport.

From 1 May to 15 June 2022 the requirement to use the ffp2 mask still applies on public transport, during shows open to the public that take place indoors in theatres, concert halls, cinemas, entertainment venues and live music and in other similar venues, during indoor sporting events and competitions. It is also advisable to wear the mask in all public indoor places or places open to the public.

“Immuni” mobile phone application
All travellers are invited to download the “Immuni” app for user tracking and the prevention of contagion from COVID19. “Immuni” warns users who have had exposure to risk, even if they are asymptomatic. “Immuni” can be downloaded at https://immuni.italia.it.

Entry. Control measures 
As of 12 February 2022, all control measures related to the pandemic, including measures on entry into the country, are lifted. As of 2 March 2022 all entry measures to the Svalbard Islands are lifted.
