Inspired by the Giro d’Italia, Emil and Espen Mellem have organized a timed cycling race, which will take place on May 6 in Sørkedalen, near Oslo. The two cousins will participate with a tandem bicycle, since Emil has reduced eyesight, wearing the jerseys of the Jumbo Visma Pro tour team, which includes the Norwegian Tobias Foss.
Emil and Espen plan to organize this bicycle race every year from now on.
The parasport to which Emil is most dedicated is cross-country skiing. Although Emil has reduced eyesight, he says there are no obstacles for him: all it takes is a little effort! And team work!
