How to get an &#8220;apostille stamp&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Norway:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Original documents issued by Norwegian authorities (schools, universities, university colleges etc.) must be authenticated or &#8220;apostilled&#8221; (\u201cBekreftelse av originaldokument\u201d) by the County Governor (<em>Statsforvalteren<\/em>) with a signature and an apostille stamp or\u00a0by the Civil Court (<em>Tingrett<\/em>). Tingretten requires a fee for this service.<\/p>\n<p>IMPORTANT: The apostille stamp must be affixed to the original document and <strong>not<\/strong> to a copy of the original document. It should be noted that most of the original certificates with signature and stamp can be requested from the <em>Skatteetaten<\/em> via the Altinn portal <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">specifying that the certificate will be used abroad<\/span>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Iceland:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Request the &#8220;apostille stamp&#8221; of the document from the Icelandic Ministry of Foreign Affairs.<br \/>\nDo you need more information on legalizations? Please call +(354) 545 9900.<\/p>\n<p>IMPORTANT: The &#8220;apostille stamp&#8221; must be affixed to the original document and not to a copy of the original document.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. How to obtain a translation that conforms to the original<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Norway:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Translations<\/strong> of Norwegian acts and documents must bear the words \u201ctranslation in conformity with the original\u201d. In countries like Norway, where the legal figure of the official translator exists, compliance can be certified by the translator himself (who has deposited the signature at <em>Tingrett<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>Once the translation has been obtained from the translator, the user must take the translation to <em>Tingrett<\/em> to have the translator&#8217;s signature legalized (&#8220;<em>Bekreftelse av statsautorisert translat\u00f8r<\/em>&#8220;) and then to <em>Statsforvalteren<\/em> to have it accompanied by an &#8220;apostille stamp&#8221; with the same procedure described above.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>In Iceland:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Translations of Icelandic acts and documents must bear the words \u201ctranslation in conformity with the original\u201d. In countries like Iceland where the legal figure of the sworn translator does not exist, the translation of the document can be requested from the Honorary Consul General, Rosa Bj\u00f6rg J\u00f3nsd\u00f3ttir (Sudurlandsbraut 6 &#8211; Reykjav\u00edk, Postal address: P.O. Box 16 \u2013 121 Reykjav\u00edk, Iceland &#8211; Phone: +354 698 1223, Email: <a href=\"mailto:reykjavik.onorario@esteri.it\">reykjavik.onorario@esteri.it<\/a>).<\/p>\n<p>The Honorary Consul will send the translation to the Embassy on which our offices will apply the translation conformity stamp.
