About 2000 politicians, diplomats, scientists, experts and decision-makers attended the event and participated in nearly 100 events to discuss priorities and policies in the Arctic region as well as to present and exchange experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Italy presented its national strategy for the Arctic &#8211; in a comprehensive speech in the plenary assembly by the Special Envoy for the Arctic, Carmine Robustelli- and the scientific and business dimension of the Italian presence in the region &#8211; in <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"resource\/doc\/2018\/10\/italy_and_the_arctic_politics_science_business_1.docx\">a breakout session<\/a><\/span>, organized by the Embassy in Oslo with the participation of experts and entrepreneurs.<\/p>\n<p>After four years since Italy&#8217;s last active participation in Arctic Circle (in 2014), the return of our country to this important event has been favorably noticed and appreciated.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"resource\/img\/2018\/10\/img-20181021-wa0013.jpg\" alt=\"img 20181021 wa0013\" width=\"459\" height=\"610\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"resource\/img\/2018\/10\/arctic_circle2018.png\" alt=\"arctic circle2018\" width=\"263\" height=\"202\" \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.arcticcircle.org\/\">http:\/\/www.arcticcircle.org\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Italy was strongly back to Arctic Circle, one of the major fora for discussion and interaction on Arctic issues, with a structured participation in this year&#8217;s works.
