{"id":4092,"date":"2024-10-30T15:54:28","date_gmt":"2024-10-30T14:54:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amboslo.esteri.it\/?p=4092"},"modified":"2024-10-30T16:13:38","modified_gmt":"2024-10-30T15:13:38","slug":"arriva-a-oslo-lottava-edizione-dellevento-barolo-friends","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amboslo.esteri.it\/en\/news\/dall_ambasciata\/2024\/10\/arriva-a-oslo-lottava-edizione-dellevento-barolo-friends\/","title":{"rendered":"The eighth edition of the \u201cBarolo &#038; Friends\u201d event arrives in Oslo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"margin-top: 0cm; background: white;\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The Consorzio I Vini del Piemonte, under the patronage of the Embassy, \u200b\u200bheld the eighth edition of the \u201cBarolo &amp; Friends\u201d event today in Oslo, which saw the participation of producers from 19 Piedmontese wineries.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Wine enthusiasts were able to attend two masterclasses &#8211; one on the Alta Langa and one dedicated to the producers of the Consorzio I Vini del Piemonte &#8211; held by the award-winning sommelier Francesco Marzola and a walk-around testing.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">The event reflects the importance and centrality of the Norwegian market for Italian producers and especially Piedmontese ones.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Italy confirms its first place for red wine sales in Norway, with Barolo and Barbaresco as the spearheads.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin-top: 0cm; background: white;\"><span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\"> In the first six months of 2024, 32 Italian labels figure among the 100 bestsellers of the Vinmonopolet, by far the most conspicuous presence.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">14 of them, or almost half, are Piedmontese productions.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Which highlights the importance of the region on this market: around 40 million euros in 2023, or more than a third of all Italian wine imported into Norway.<\/span><\/span> <span class=\"jCAhz ChMk0b\"><span class=\"ryNqvb\">Support for food and wine excellence remains one of the most solid and long-lasting promotional channels of Italian economic diplomacy.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Consorzio I Vini del Piemonte, under the patronage of the Embassy, \u200b\u200bheld the eighth edition of the \u201cBarolo &amp; Friends\u201d event today in Oslo, which saw the participation of producers from 19 Piedmontese wineries.
