- Euraxess – researchers in motion is an initiative of the European Commission aimed at making European scientific careers more attractive for researchers from all over the world and at facilitating the mobility of researchers in EU countries.

Institutional Framework
Bilateral activities must promote:
- the creation of European research networks in sectors of excellence for our country
- the inclusion of Italian research groups and companies involved in project development networks initiated by the accrediting country
- the development of greater interaction with National Delegates for European Union Research Programs
- interaction with Italian entities engaged in disseminating the European Commission’s research and training programs and with representative bodies of research groups, such as scientific associations and societies
- the process of researcher mobility by stimulating the creation of training networks or research infrastructures
- the definition of European-wide interventions within the annual programming
- the strengthening of dialogue between scientific professionals, including by sharing their respective expertise in developing research networks
- the integration of EU Research Framework Programme themes into the preparation of Bilateral Protocols
