The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation has launched a selection procedure in order to identify candidates in possession of particular and proven professional qualifications and experience in the field of development cooperation for the purpose of appointing a new Director of the Italian Agency for development cooperation. The appointment is for four years and can be renewed only once.

Among the requirements are: university degree, knowledge of the C1 level of the common European reference framework for the knowledge of foreign languages, at least 10 years of documented post-graduate work experience (3 years of working activity in the development cooperation sector and at least 5 years of executive or managerial functions with direct responsibility for the management of human and financial resources).
