Card per sito
This year too we are joining the campaign promoted by the United Nations – UN Women for the elimination of violence against women. On the occasion of the Italian Presidency of the G7, Italy 🇮🇹 has decided to pay particular attention to the topic. A specific moment will be held today on the occasion of the G7 ministerial meeting in Fiuggi – Anagni, when the G7 Foreign Ministers will pay homage to the city of Fiuggi with a red bench, symbol of the victims of femicide. 🎗🧡
In parallel, the facade of the Farnesina will also be illuminated in orange. The International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women was also the occasion to illuminate the facade of the Italian Embassy in Oslo and the Ambassador’s residence in Inkognitogata in orange. Orange is the color chosen by UN Women for this anniversary, as it represents a bright and shining future, free from violence against women and girls. The “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence” campaign starts on November 25 and runs until December 10, Human Rights Day.
