The Via Querinissima project has obtained the prestigious Cultural Route certification from the Council of Europe, one of the most prestigious European awards for cultural itineraries that promote the continent’s shared values, intercultural dialogue, heritage preservation, and cooperation between territories.
This recognition represents an extraordinary milestone for the Via Querinissima project, created to enhance the historic route of the Venetian nobleman Pietro Querini and transform it into a cultural bridge uniting European communities, institutions, territories, and citizens.
The certification issued by the Council of Europe confirms the cultural, historical, and identity-building value of the route, recognizing years of work carried out through an international network of partners, local authorities, cultural institutions, universities, and associations committed to promoting a European vision based on mutual understanding and the sharing of a common heritage.
