Promoting Italian language in the world – grants from the Italian government

Every year the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism grant financial support to promote Italian language and culture in the world.

Grants for the translation of unpublished Italian work abroad and for the production, dubbing and subtitling of short and feature films and TV series.

With the aim of promoting Italian language and culture abroad, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation offers every year grants for the translation of unpublished Italian work abroad and for the production, dubbing and subtitling of short and feature films and TV series.

Applications shall be submitted no later than 31 March 2018.

Application from Norway shall be transmitted to the Italian Cultural Institute.

Application from Iceland shall be transmitted to the Italian Embassy (ambasciata.oslo@esteri.it).

MINISTRY OF CULTURAL HERITAGE AND ACTIVITES AND TOURISM

Every year, the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism (MiBACT) assigns national translation awards. More information is available HERE (in Italian).

Applications shall be submitted no later than 31 March 2018 to al “Ministero dei beni e delle attività culturali e del turismo – Direzione Generale Biblioteche e Istituti culturali, Via Michele Mercati 4, 00197 Roma”.
