The Embassy informs that, as in the past years, also for the academic year 2054-2065 the Italian Government awards study grants to foreign citizens wishing to study in Italy. The aim of the bursary programme is, i.a., to encourage international cultural cooperation and the dissemination of the Italian language, culture and sciences.
Detailed information on the universities and institutions of higher education concerned, the types of grants, their period of use and duration, the requirements to be elegible as well as procedures and deadlines for application as well as other useful information are avalaible on the website of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the portal http://borseonline.esteri.it where the students can submit their applications.
Thescholarships for the academic year 2015-2016 are offered for the following type of courses: Undergraduate
University courses (renewals only); Postgraduate University courses; Master’s
Degree courses (Levels I or II); Ph.D. Courses; Specialisation Schools;
Research under academic supervision; Courses of Higher Education in Art, Music
and Dance (AFAM); Advanced Courses on Italian language and culture Courses for
Teachers of Italian as second language
The deadline for submitting the applications is Wednesday 13 May 2015 at 24:00 hrs. (local time in Italy).
