After the crisis of 2008-2009 the Italian economy is now showing clear signs of recovery. Also the bilateral economic relations between Italy
and Norway are constantly improving in terms of both bilateral trade -which now
is higher than the pre-crisis levels- and presence of Italian firms in Norway.
The Italian Minister of Economy and Finance Pier Carlo
Padoan has launched the positive message in a recently published video. “The crisis was
deep but it also confirmed the resilience of the economy” said Minister
Padoan who added that “the government’s structural economic reforms and tax
cuts are starting to bear fruit”.
The
video is entitled “Beyond the Clouds, Italy Is Back” with reference to the
title of a 1995 Michelangelo Antonioni film.
