To mark the 60th anniversary of the Treaty of Rome the Italian Embassy, togehter with Norwegian institutions, organizes and promotes the following events:
Trondheim
- “The European Integration: history of an idea, history of an ideal”: working breakfast with the Italian Ambassador Giorgio Novello at the University of Trondheim (NTNU Dragvoll) 21 March 2017, 9:00-10:00 hrs.
- The European Union: bridging the gap between hopes and reality”: working lunch with the Italian Ambassador Giorgio Novello at the University of Trondheim (NTNU Gløshaugen), 21 March 2017, 12:00-13:00 hrs.
- “Europeisk integrasjon – Markering av 60-årsjubileet for inngåelse av Romatraktaten” 21. mars 2017, kl. 18:00 – 20:00, Kulturtorget, Trondheim folkebibliotek. Paneldebatt arrangert av den Italienske ambassaden og Europabevegelsen i Trøndelag til en paneldebatt. I panelet deltar: Giorgio Novello, Italias ambassadør til Norge – Kristian Steinnes, professor i moderne europeisk historie ved NTNU – Lise Rye, førsteamanuensis ved NTNU – Martin Pettersen, leder Europabevegelsen i Trøndelag -Charlotte Johansen, sentralstyremedlem i Europeisk Ungdom.
