“Recognizing and Countering Holocaust Distortion”. Italian version

The non-governmental organization IHRA (The International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance) adopted in 2020 under the German Presidency and published in January 2021 a set of recommendations to help policy and decision makers recognize and counter Holocaust distortion. The document has now been translated into Italian and integrated with an introduction by the experts of the Italian Delegation at the IHRA focused on the Italian context.

The Italian version of the IHRA guidelines opens with a preface by the Minister of Education Patrizio Bianchi who underlines the importance of being vigilant and aware of how to react “in the face of any manifestation of ignorance, trivialization, minimization of a real crime”.
