“Welcome to meraviglia” is the new promotional campaign by the Italian Tourist Board (ENIT)

Produced by the Armando Testa company, the campaign focuses on the creation of the first virtual influencer of Made in Italy in the updated figure of Botticelli’s Venus.

For the campaign, whose claim is Italy. Open to meraviglia, a dedicated social profile has been activated on Instagram, venereitalia23, which already has 200,000 followers.

Over 44 billion euros were spent by foreign tourists in Italy last year and the data relating to the first months of 2023 are particularly encouraging, confirming the growth of the sector, one of the leading national industries.
