The Ambassador of Italy in Oslo, Stefano Nicoletti, visited the headquarters of Mapei, a leading company in the sector of chemical products for construction and infrastructure – mainly for rehabilitation, structural reinforcement, insulation and waterproofing of cladding and flooring.With a turnover of 33 billion euros, 32 research centres, 6,000 products, 66,000 customers and 86 production plants, 100 branches, 11,000 employees, 150 of which in Norway, Mapei represents Italian excellence in the world.
Mapei mainly deals with renovation, structural reinforcement, insulation and waterproofing of coverings and floors.
Ambassador Nicoletti visited their plant in Sagstua, where they are committed to developing technologies and products for the Nordic climate with the quality to extend the life of buildings and infrastructure.
