Norway: Extreme Weather Conditions – Storm “Jacob”

Heavy rainfall and strong winds are expected in the coming days in much of western and southern Norway. The red alert has been issued in particular for the inland and central areas of Vestland County, where there is a high risk of flooding, landslides, mudslides, with consequent interruptions and closures of roads and railways, even at short notice, a phenomenon that also affects some areas of the counties of Møre og Romsdal and Rogaland.
