A very interesting business networking event, “Italian companies on glaciers”, took place on 15 March at Det Gamle Biblioteket in Oslo, as part of the photographic exhibition “Italian Routes. Mountains, mountaineering, climate change”, a project of Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, carried out in collaboration with the ONG Macromicro and Fabiano Ventura, landscape photographer specialized in environmental issues, the Italian Embassy in Oslo, Assosport and the Italian Trade Agency. The event was dedicated to Italian excellences in the mountain and winter sports equipment sector.
During the event, opened by the Italian Ambassador to Norway, Stefano Nicoletti, by the Director of ITA Office in Stockholm, Andrea Mattiello, and by the President of Assoport, Anna Ferrino, five Italian iconic producers of mountaineering equipment presented themselves to the Norwegian buyers and public: La Sportiva, Ferrino S.p.A., Aku, SCARPA and Vibram Group.
