The Italian Embassy in Oslo celebrates today the “National Made in Italy Day” with the release of a video dedicated to the promotion of Italian creativity and excellence in the furniture and lighting sector, through the voices of Norwegians who know and appreciate it.
The video collects the testimonies of Norwegian operators in the segment of design furniture, lighting and quality coverings, produced in Italy. The testimonials were interviewed on site, in their respective showrooms, where they exhibit manufacturing excellence of Italian design. With decades of experience, annual visits to the Salone del Mobile in Milan and other trade fairs, and through direct contact with the best Italian furniture and lighting manufacturers, the owners of these exclusive shops offer in the video an interesting testimony on the qualities that make “Made in Italy” products unique and distinctive.
The aim of the Day is to show the value of Italian products, the excellence of Italian manufacturing, artisans, materials and designers. The Italian Ambassador in Oslo, Stefano Nicoletti, said: “Listening to the voices of these Norwegians who speak of craftsmanship, of knowing how to work wood or stone, fabrics and light, I was struck and intrigued by their knowledge of the places of production and the men and women who hide behind the brands. For this reason, they are the best promoters of our savoir-faire in a country like Norway, where high-quality and Italian design products are highly appreciated and sought after. I am sure that our video will be of interest to Norwegian consumers who love beauty and products created with care, attention to detail, craftsmanship and, last but not least, environmental sustainability”.
