According to recent ministerial guidelines (regarding the implementation of Law 148/2002 and Art. 46 of Presidential Decree 394/1999 on academic recognition), the Dichiarazione di Valore (Declaration of Value) is required exclusively for qualifications obtained outside the European Union, the European Economic Area (Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein), and Switzerland.
Consequently, academic qualifications obtained in European Economic Area countries (Norway, Iceland, and Liechtenstein) must be automatically recognized across all Italian university campuses.
Lastly, please note that the Dichiarazione di Valore is a document attesting to the value of a qualification obtained within a non-European education system.
